we support
Maria is proud to work alongside other not-for-profit organisations. Together we share a common mission to make a difference in the lives of others in the community. It is Maria’s belief that if we all just did a little bit to help, then the world would be a better place. She is honoured to be able to support the following organisations:
Buddy Up Australia connects Australian current and ex-service personnel to their community through purposeful volunteering, social and physical activities.
This includes military and emergency services, eg. Police, Fire & Rescue and Ambulance.
Whether you are still serving or are transitioning to civilian life, Buddy Up Australia has been created to lend a hand. We are here to help you find connection and purpose while making a difference in your local community with like-minded people.
We aim for early intervention and prevention of PTSD to keep you in the well-zone of mental and physical health.
StandBy – Support After Suicide is recognised as Australia’s leading suicide prevention program dedicated to assisting people and communities bereaved or impacted by suicide. StandBy provides free face-to-face and telephone support for individuals, families, workplaces, schools, and community groups.
The program provides a central point of coordination, connecting people to the various supports they may need through referrals to services, groups and organisations within their local area. Locally tailored community workshops and education programs are provided to increase awareness of suicide bereavement to help enable communities to support one another.
The Magic Moments Foundation is a not-for-profit Australian charity formed to create a coalition of caring volunteers who are committed to consistently reaching and assisting people who are often forgotten by society.
We are also focused on supporting people to grow their own skills, particularly the youth in our communities, to become contributing members of their own communities.
We achieve this through our Basket Brigade programs, providing food and essentials to those in need, our Grandies Gifting programs, connecting with and supporting the elderly in our and through our Youth Leadership programs, bringing together young people locally and globally to step into their greatness.
The White Bear foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, delivering leadership weekend workshops for children aged 7 to 12 years. In the workshop the children learn effective communication, social skills and leadership skills. The workshop is conducted in a fun-filled and safe environment where the children learn how to deal with bullying as well as learn how to become more resilient in challenging situations. The content that the children learn in the workshops will benefit them for both schooling and future years.
